Delftware Ceramics Teapots and Mugs
Delftware is named for the Dutch City of Delft. The term delftware is sometimes used to describe any of the blue and white ceramics however authentic delftware is hand painted by artists and tin glazed by a process developed over the centuries. All authentic delftware pieces made in Holland are hand painted and can be indentified by an imprint showing the factory mark, item number and the artists intitials.
The Delftware we offer is made in the Netherlands by the DeWitt ceramics company. They produce a high qulaity yet affordble line of beautiful teaware shown below.
